A communicator guide acts as the ‘eyes and ears’ of a deafblind person to enable them to do any number of things to facilitate independence, choice and control.
FACS offers experienced and skilled Communicator Guides using clear speech and good communication tactics to facilitate communication in a variety of situations.

This support can be funded through Local Authorities or self-funding, or through Personal Budgets. This is a confidential service and can be provided on a one off ad hoc basis or as a long-term service.
